River Arts

River Arts is a nonprofit arts organization presenting high-caliber, diverse exhibitions throughout the year. Located in Damariscotta, the gallery showcases artists from across Maine, with work ranging from contemporary and abstract pieces to landscapes and realistic art in all media. Exhibitions rotate frequently and include both juried and non-juried shows open to members and non-members, along with solo and small group exhibitions in the River Room. With a membership of more than 300 artists, River Arts offers a wide-ranging view of Maine’s creative talent. Classes and educational opportunities are also part of the organization’s programming, supporting both artists and the visiting public.
