Readfield Historical Society and Museum

Our collection is housed in a circa-1853 schoolhouse located in Readfield Depot. Upstairs, we have most of our exhibits. The upstairs is handicap accessible. Downstairs, we have restored the old schoolroom. We have an area for doing research plus a historian and genealogist on call.

We have a farm section; a home and family life section; a transportation area; a section on churches and civic organizations; and a Grange corner.
