Readfield Historical Society and Museum

Our collection is housed in a circa-1853 schoolhouse located in Readfield Depot. Upstairs, we have most of our exhibits. Downstairs, we have restored the old schoolroom. We have an area for doing research plus a historian and genealogist on call.

We have a farm section; a home and family life section; a transportation area; a section on churches and civic organizations; and a Grange corner.
