Bright flavors and playful personality define Pugnuts Ice Cream Shop, a Maine-made ice cream and gelato producer known for its signature pints and celebration-ready desserts. Visitors can stock up on paw-some pints in classic and creative flavors, from Maine Blueberry and Black Raspberry to Stracciatella and Espresso, available at the shop and select retail locations statewide. The freezer case also features ice cream and gelato cakes, with a rotating selection ready to grab and custom cakes available with advance notice. From May through October, a pastry case highlights gluten-free lemon squares, cosmic brownies and oversized cookies from Honey & Lace Baking Co. In cooler months, warm apple crisp and Indian pudding, topped with ice cream or gelato, add a comforting finish to the visit.
