Pineland Farms

Pineland Farms is a privately-owned working farm and business campus open to the public for exploration, recreation and education. Visit our farm to see our renowned Holstein herd, or check out our family farmyard with animals your child can see and learn all about.

We also have 30 Kilometers of trails that are perfect for a mountain bike excursion, challenging trail run or leisurely hike. These same trails become the ultimate winter destination for Nordic Skiing and Snowshoeing. The one-acre perennial, herb and vegetable Garden at Pineland Farms is a wonderful place to stroll along a quarter-mile of paved walkways, picnic on the lawn beneath the shade of an apple tree, or simply sit on the Adirondack swing and enjoy the fragrant air.

While you are here, stop by the Market for the freshest produce, cheese, and meats right from the farm, as well as a great selection of Maine made products and gifts, gourmet foods, and huge selection of wines and craft beer. In the summer you can also pick your own strawberries, raspberries & blueberries at our produce farm on Mayall Road.

The Market and Welcome Center is open daily: Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm; Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm.

The garden and hiking trails are open to explore at no charge during the summer months. Bikers need a $5 day pass – ages 10 and under are free. 2 hour farm passes are available for $6 per person – ages 2 and under are free. A farm pass includes a self-guided tour of the dairy barns and family farmyard. Enjoy a round of disc golf in all seasons throughout the year!

In winter trail passes for skiing, snowshoeing, and fat biking are needed. Ice skating and sledding are free to the public. Please check our website for trail conditions and winter activity updates: https://pinelandfarms.org/recreation/trail-conditions/

With activities and sights for everyone, Pineland Farms is a must-see on your next vacation or getaway.
