Ossipee Valley Music Festival
Four-day annual music festival in southern Maine
On the banks of the Ossipee River, nestled in the tall pines, the Ossipee Valley Music Festival brings top-name acts and their fans together for a four-day acoustic music event with live music from two stages. Bluegrass predominates, but other acoustic-based music like Gypsy, Jazz, Old Time Country, Honky Tonk, Irish and Cape Breton can be heard. The Festival is host to the New England Flatpicking, Banjo and Songwriting Contests. It also hosts numerous workshops and dances and a children's music academy, Roots & Sprouts. Camping and RV hookups are available on site, plus craft, food and music vendors.
