North Star Orchards
North Star Orchards is located at the foot of the western Maine mountains, overlooking the Kennebec River. The farm, which includes the apple orchard, cold storage, packing facility, farm store, pick-your-own, mail-order catalog, cider mill and farm kitchen, is run by two generations of the Dimock family. Enjoy a spectacular view from our picnic area, ride our wagon on weekends in the fall, and shop in our farm store.
We encourage visitors in every season! You are always welcome to walk in our orchard and picnic or fly kites. Plan a trip in late May to see the orchard in bloom - one of the most spectacular times to visit.
Our store is open September 1 through December 24, every day 10-5 and weekends 10-5 January through August.
