Midcoast Youth Theater

Midcoast Youth Theater creates a welcoming space where children and teens can explore performance through singing, dancing and storytelling, guided by professional actors, directors and musicians. Participants rehearse collaboratively, build confidence and form friendships, then share their work in two culminating performances for friends and family. Productions are supported by a full creative team, including music directors, choreographers and stage managers, ensuring a thoughtful and age-appropriate experience. Open to youth of all experience levels, the program emphasizes inclusion, imagination and artistic expression, with scholarships available to ensure access regardless of financial means. For visiting families, attending a performance offers a chance to experience the energy of Midcoast Maine’s creative youth community.
