Maine Windjammer Association
Offering 3-to-10-day sailing vacations along Maine's midcoast.
Founded in 1977, the Maine Windjammer Association represents the largest fleet of traditional sailing schooners in North America. All of the Maine windjammers are individually owned and operated by U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captains who work together to ensure the highest standards of safety, comfort and professionalism. Sailing from Camden and Rockland.
Guests are invited to participate in all shipboard activities, from taking a turn at the wheel to raising and lowering sails. Windjammers anchor in a new cove or harbor each night and guests have a chance to go ashore and explore. One night everyone goes ashore for a traditional island lobster bake.
