A large collection of lighthouse lenses, artifacts and Coast Guard memorabilia

The Maine Lighthouse Museum houses the largest collection of lighthouse lenses, and one of the most important landmark collections of lighthouse artifacts and Coast Guard memorabilia in the United States. As the new museum evolves and grows, a very substantial but partial portion of the collection will be on full-time display. Included with the museum is the Gift Shop, filled with something "lighthouse" for everyone. Located on Rockland's waterfront, the collection is a must-see for anyone interested in lighthouses and American maritime history.
