With miles upon miles of winding, wooded trails, you can just as easily find yourself atop a gorgeous mountain cliff or taking a swim in a secluded waterfall basin.
For over 140 years, Appalachian Mountain Club's Little Lyford Lodge & Cabins has provided visitors an authentic outdoor experience in central Maine’s expansive Moosehead Lake region. Cross-country ski out your cabin’s front door, fly fish the West Branch of the Pleasant River, or hike your way up to Laurie’s Ledge on Indian Mountain for stunning views. - Hours Full Service Winter/Spring Season Dates: January 14, 2021 – March 6, 2021 ; December 26, 2021 – January 1, 2022 Full Service Summer/Fall Season Dates: May 20, 2021 – October 16, 2021 This AMC lodge is drive-in during summer and fall, and is accessible by ski or dogsled in winter.
