#1 B&B by TripAdvisor; only Select Registry & Blue Diamond. A premier Maine Inn providing amenities of a boutique hotel, yet balanced with the personalized service and authenticity only intimate accommodations provide. Innkeepers Kenneth and Rachel Parlin invite you to experience comfort and warm hospitality in their Bed and Breakfast, located in historic Bath, Maine.

Located perfectly along Maine’s MidCoast U.S. Coastal Route 1 corridor, the Kennebec Inn is the perfect point of departure to explore all the MidCoast region has to offer. The Inn is a grand Italianate house built in the early 1850's by Captain James B. Perkins during what was coined "The Halcyon Days of Bath." Captain James B. Perkins was a master mariner and held substantial investments in the Eastern Steamboat Company, of which Perkins was the initial director in 1869. The house was then sold in 1865 to Sea Captain Samuel B. Reed, who was later lost at sea in 1869. One hundred and fifty-five years later the house was purchased by Ken and Rachel where they meticulously restored it to its former beauty. Come visit our website to learn more about how the Kennebec Inn has been the B&B of choice by guests of Maine for over nine years.

_Relax...you're at the Kennebec Inn._
