The Italian Heritage Center Concert Band is Southern Maine's largest amateur concert band, with members including high-school students, octogenarians, and everyone in between. The band gets its name from its rehearsal location, but you don't have to be Italian to participate! Each concert features a theme and includes popular music, movie tunes, light classical pieces, marches, show tunes and more. The consistently high level of performance appeals to diverse audiences and the band plays over a dozen concerts a year at public and private venues, including parks, nursing homes, and schools.
