Seasonal Hours
Hidden Valley Nature Center protects 1,000 acres of diverse forest, fields and wetlands in Jefferson, including more than a mile of shorefront on Little Dyer Pond. Miles of well-maintained, multi-use trails invite visitors to hike, bike, ski and explore varied terrain throughout the year. The center offers a robust schedule of programs, from sustainable forestry workshops to guided paddles and seasonal outdoor skills, with more than 30 educational events annually. As a community forest managed by Midcoast Conservancy, the property is open and welcoming to all, with day-use access supported by voluntary donations from non-members. Hidden Valley Nature Center is a place to learn, move and connect with Maine’s working landscape.
