Frenchman Bay Conservancy

Frenchman Bay Conservancy is a nonprofit land trust dedicated to conserving the natural landscapes of Hancock County. The organization works to protect land throughout the Frenchman Bay and Union River watersheds using conservation easements and stewarded nature preserves that safeguard wildlife habitat, water quality and scenic character.

The conservancy maintains more than a dozen protected properties, many of which are open to the public for year-round day use. These preserves feature trail networks that provide access to forests, shorelines, wetlands and other defining natural environments of the region, offering opportunities for walking, wildlife observation and quiet outdoor recreation while supporting long-term land stewardship.
