Eastport Arts Center
The hub for the arts in Down East Maine
Open year-round, the Eastport Arts Center is known as a "hub for the arts in Down East Maine." The arts center offers gallery shows at the Center's gallery and the Eastport Gallery on Water St, a Concert Series with mostly classical music, Eastport Strings - a youth strings group - productions by Stage East theater company, concerts by the Passamaquoddy Bay Symphony Orchestra, and movies with the Northern Lights Film Society. The EAC also offers workshops through ArtsBloom, including a collaboration with Shead High School to provide accredited art classes and a Summer series with a variety of classes and workshops. From July to September, the EAC is host to the Sunrise County Farmer's market with locally grown produce, meat and dairy items.
