Cleftstone Manor
The Cleftstone Manor, built in 1884 on "Millionaire's Row", is one of the few Victorian mansions to escape the fire of 1947. The sixteen guestrooms, each with private bath, and magnificent common rooms are furnished with Victorian antiques and period pieces, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of turn of the century Bar Harbor.
All guestrooms are airconditioned with cable TV and phone. Some have fireplaces, whirlpool tubs and DVD players. There is a guest computer is the library and the inn has WIFI.
Enjoy a gourmet breakfast each morning created by our chef and owner Anne Bahr. The menu includes blueberry baked french toast, quiche and eggs benedict. Afternoon refreshments are served on the large sunny porch.
