Chocolate Church Arts Center

Chocolate Church Arts Center is a regional performing and visual arts venue in Midcoast Maine, presenting live music, theater, dance and community events in a historic former church. The Main Stage features a spring-loaded floor designed for dance, tiered seating for 277 guests and updated sound and lighting systems, with audience entry through original 170-year-old wooden doors and an accessible lobby with box office and concessions. An adjacent Annex building offers a flexible black box–style space with its own street-level entrance, adaptable seating, dressing rooms, bathrooms and a basic kitchen. The center also hosts a free public Art Lab stocked with materials for painting, printmaking, sewing and sculpture, and maintains an up-to-date online calendar where visitors can find current performances, programs and events.
