Cascadia Park is the perfect place to camp when you want to spend a quiet, relaxing vacation near Old Orchard Beach.
Cascadia Park offers large, private campsites in a natural, wooded setting only 3 miles from the ocean and 12.5 miles from downtown Portland. Located on Route One in Saco, 1/2 mile from the Old Orchard Beach town line, Cascadia has been open every year since 1965. There are 94 campsites on 17 acres, with space and buffering between all sites. RV sites are in two sections. The front section, which is closer to the office, restrooms and showers is shaded, but is more open than the back section. The back section is further into the woods and the sites have a bit more shade and privacy. All RV sites have water, 30 amp electricity and sewer. Tent and pop-up sites are either basic or have water and electricity and are in a mature pine grove. Public wifi comes from the restroom building and is available in some campsites. Sites have fireplaces and picnic tables. Each site is unique. Most campers drive to the beach, but a bike path and public transportation are available. For campers interested in hiking or biking, the Eastern Trail is only 1 mile from the office. There are many things to see and do in the area, including beaches, hiking trails, lighthouses, museums, amusement parks, sailing, deep sea fishing, Casco Bay Cruises, festivals, theatres, fairs, shops and restaurants. Boston is a 2 hour train ride away on the Amtrak Downeaster. 2023 rates start at $48 per night, plus tax for a basic site for up to 2 people, one camping unit and one vehicle. Full hookups start at $58 per night, plus tax. Monthly and seasonal rates are also available.
