Bufflehead Sailing Charters

Bufflehead Sailing Charters offers private sailing charters for small groups of up to six people on Penobscot Bay. Trips depart from Rockland and nearby ports aboard a 32-foot wooden gaff-rigged sloop designed for comfortable and capable coastal sailing.

Charters range from short harbor sails to full-day island excursions, with opportunities to view lighthouses, seals, islands, mountain backdrops and the region’s working waterfront. All trips are led by an experienced owner-captain and tailored to the interests of each group, welcoming guests of all ages.
