WELCOME TO OUR REGION! As you navigate your way along the coast, I trust you will notice that there is a great deal to enjoy in our area and that the space on the map between Belfast to Bangor, Bangor to Ellsworth and back again, has a lot to offer. One of the best things about Maine is the diversity of its small towns from fishing ports to great spots along our rivers and ponds. There is an entrepreneurial spirit here that I have not encountered any other place I have lived.

That spirit creates a huge variety of shops and services that are owned and operated by men and women that live, work and care about right here. When you support our local businesses you are supporting the entire community. Every one of these hard working individuals gives time, talent and money to make this area the best place to Eat, Play, Shop and Stay. Make sure you thank them when you walk through their doors and tell them "the Chamber sent you!" The Bucksport Bay Area Chamber of Commerce is organized to promote the prosperity and quality of life in our area so that the citizens and business community will thrive. One of our many objectives, and part of our strategic plan, is connecting business to community. We have found one of the best ways to achieve this goal is to have a diverse, enthusiastic and involved membership.
