Acadia Mountain Guides Climbing School offers professional rock climbing and hiking instruction in Acadia National Park and other climbing destinations across Maine.
Private half- and full-day courses are available for all ages and ability levels, including first-time climbers and experienced participants. Programs are well suited to individuals, families and small groups, with all technical equipment provided and special family rates available.
Founded more than 20 years ago, the school is accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association and the Professional Climbing Instructors Association. Owner and lead guide Jon Tierney holds the internationally recognized IFMGA/UIAGM mountain guide certification.
