Acadia Bike

Acadia Bike offers guided and self-guided ways to experience Acadia National Park by bicycle, with a focus on learning, access and ease. Ranger-led bike tours invite riders onto the park’s historic carriage roads while an Acadia National Park ranger shares insights into the landscape, ecology and history of Mount Desert Island. Visitors can also choose private or group tours tailored to different interests and ability levels. For independent exploration, Acadia Bike rents 21-speed conventional bikes and electric bikes designed for comfort on the carriage roads, Park Loop Road and surrounding routes. Rentals are available from the downtown Bar Harbor shop, making it easy for families, solo riders and first-time visitors.
