Located on the west branch of the Penobscot River and Abol Stream with an unbelievable view of Mt. Katahdin. 36 sites, store, gas, full service restaurant, tenting, fishing, hunting, hiking, canoe/kayaking, snowmobiling. Campground closed from November to April. Located right on ITS86 and the Appalachian Trail. New in 2016 event pavilion, second showerhouse.
