S.L. Wadsworth & Son is a historic ship chandlery and hardware store in downtown Eastport, established in 1818 and family-owned and operated for generations. Known as the oldest ship chandlery in the nation, the business remains closely tied to Eastport’s working waterfront.
The business includes two storefronts across from the Fisherman Statue, combining an old-fashioned hardware store with a nautical gift shop. Offerings range from practical marine and hardware supplies to Eastport-branded merchandise, clothing and nautically themed gifts and reproductions.
