Solstice Alpaca Farm – Maine Alpaca Experience offers educational alpaca farm tours and on-site shopping that invite visitors to connect with one of Maine’s working fiber farms. Guided visits provide opportunities to meet the alpacas, learn about their care and understand how alpaca fiber is processed from animal to finished product.
The farm’s retail shop features alpaca clothing, yarn and accessories made from farm-raised fiber and other locally sourced materials. In addition to the farm location, Solstice Alpaca Farm operates year-round retail shops in Northport and Unity, which include alpaca products and live video feeds linking visitors back to the animals. The experience emphasizes hands-on learning, animal interaction and Maine-made goods.
