Markings Gallery is a cooperative gallery located in Bath, representing more than 50 Maine artists and craftspeople working across a broad range of contemporary media. The gallery presents an eclectic selection of work created in metal, clay, fiber, paper, glass, paint, stone and wood, reflecting the depth and diversity of Maine’s creative community.
The space features individual pieces as well as seasonal thematic group exhibitions that highlight shared ideas, materials or approaches. The cooperative is actively run by its artist members, and visitors often encounter artists working on-site, offering added context and insight into the creative process behind the work on display.
