Castine Kayak Adventures

Castine Kayak Adventures offers guided sea kayaking tours and instructional clinics on Penobscot Bay. Based at Eaton’s Wharf in Castine, the outfitter launches directly from the waterfront into island-dotted coastal waters connecting Midcoast and Downeast Maine.

Guided trips are led by Registered Maine sea kayak guides and are designed for a range of experience levels, from beginners to seasoned paddlers. Small-group ecotours explore the natural and cultural landscape of the area, with opportunities to observe coastal wildlife, birdlife, marine ecology, geology and local maritime history. All necessary kayaking equipment is provided.

Castine Kayak Adventures also offers evening paddles, including bioluminescent and stargazing kayak tours, along with a kayak shop and additional paddle and bike rentals.
