SECRET GARDENS OF THE KENNEBUNKS

The Louis T. Graves Memorial Public Library is pleased to announce the return of its beloved Secret Gardens of the Kennebunks Tour on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, rain or shine.

For one day only, seven gracious property owners will open their private gardens—normally hidden behind stone walls, seaside cottages, and privacy hedges—to guests eager to explore the Kennebunks' most enchanting and diverse landscapes. Ticket holders will enjoy a variety of garden styles and plant collections, all while supporting a vital community resource. Volunteers will greet visitors at each location to answer questions and assist with parking.

Tickets are available in advance for $60 each through Eventbrite or at Graves Library (18 Maine Street, Kennebunkport). Day-of tickets will be available for $70 at the Kennebunkport Consolidated School (25 School Street), where the tour begins. All participants must start at Consolidated School to receive a detailed map and instructions for the day.

All proceeds from the Secret Gardens of the Kennebunks Tour directly benefit the Louis T. Graves Memorial Public Library, ensuring continued service and programs for the community.
