The Great Impasta

The Great Impasta is a locally owned Italian restaurant located in the heart of downtown Brunswick. Established in 1984, the restaurant has long been part of the community, serving classic Italian cuisine made with fresh ingredients. The menu features traditional pasta dishes such as linguine pescatore with scallops, clams, shrimp, crab and mussels in a ricotta and Romano cream sauce, along with steak, veal and chicken entrées.

Additional offerings include house-made garlic knots, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, and a selection of homemade Italian desserts and sauces. The Great Impasta is Maine’s only three-star certified Green restaurant, with environmentally responsible practices integrated throughout its operations.
