Swans Island Company – Studio & Showroom

Swans Island Company – Studio & Showroom produces heirloom textiles and hand-dyed yarns on the Maine coast. Founded in 1992, the company weaves blankets and dyes yarns using sustainably sourced natural fibers and traditional techniques. Visitors to the Northport showroom and production studio can observe weavers and dyers at work and explore a collection of woven goods made on site. The showroom also features fine knitting yarns and knit accessories produced in collaboration with small American textile mills. Swans Island Company is a recipient of the Smithsonian Blue Ribbon for Excellence.
