Pejepscot History Center brings the stories of Brunswick, Topsham and Harpswell to life through historic sites, exhibitions and research resources. Visitors can explore two nearby 19th-century house museums—the Joshua L. Chamberlain Museum and the Skolfield-Whittier House—where guided tours share personal stories that connect the past to the present. At the Pejepscot Museum, rotating exhibits highlight local history and its relevance today, displayed across two gallery spaces. The History Center also operates a research center, offering access to archival documents and reference materials for those interested in deeper exploration. Together, these spaces create an engaging experience for history enthusiasts, students and curious travelers alike.
