Lincolnville Historical Society Museum offers a glimpse into local history inside a restored 1892 schoolhouse once known as the Beach School. Located on the building’s second floor, the museum occupies the original classroom where all eight grades were taught until 1947. Exhibits include historic photographs, household artifacts, Native American items and a genealogical section that supports family history research. The collection was moved into the restored schoolroom in 1994, when the Historical Society began shaping the space into a museum. Today, visitors can explore Lincolnville’s past in a setting that reflects the town’s educational and community heritage.
