Forest Ridge Campground is a small, family owned campground located about 14 miles from the entrance to Acadia National Park. Set inland from Mount Desert Island, it offers a quieter base with convenient access to Bar Harbor, Acadia and a wide range of Midcoast and Downeast communities within an easy drive. In addition to campsites, the campground features a single rustic cabin equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, mini refrigerator and electric fireplace for cool mornings and evenings. The cabin does not have indoor plumbing, but a bath and laundry building is a short walk away.
