With Grown from Roots, the multi-instrumentalist group Invoke takes listeners on a journey into the historical roots of the string quartet, roots-music influences present throughout the history of Western classical music, and the ensemble's own roots across a wide array of musical traditions. You'll hear works by Haydn, William Grant Still, Aaron Copland, Maurice Ravel, a world premiere featuring PCMF's Artistic Director, violist Melissa Reardon, and more.​
