The Whole Thing Opening Reception
An evening of music, art and drinks at The Francis!
Join us for the unveiling of Tara Rook's spring time art show, The Whole Thing!
We will be celebrating this collection with an open reception on Friday, April 1st from 5pm - 8pm as part of Portland's First Friday Art Walk.
Tara specializes in pen & ink illustrations and her mission is to create mindful art with love. She expresses gratitude and appreciation by illustrating themes of nature, Maine, anatomy and physiology, the healing arts, flora and fauna, and her love of traveling to distant places.
The reception will include live music by Just Milk, Tara's electronic music project, with DJ sets on the half hour starting at 5:30pm.
We hope to see you in person for this fun celebration! Beer & wine from Wayside Tavern will be available for purchase on the evening - and you can turn it into a great night out with a reservation for dinner next door at Wayside after taking in the show!
