The Moose River Bow Trip (the trip gets its name from the shape of the paddling, bow shaped; and the shuttle, the straight string forming a bow) is a great beginner, multi day paddling trip, comprising flat water, modest rapids, a few portages and several lakes and ponds. Paddlers will enjoy three nights under the stars in tent sites along the route in one of the most beautiful stretches of the Maine North Woods.
What to know: Paddling experience is not necessary but it is helpful. Maine Sport will provide round trip transportation from our flagship store in Rockport, all canoes, paddles, PFDs, dry bags and meals. Paddlers are responsible for personal gear and clothing.
