The Maine Cheese Festival

Celebrate Maine Cheese and Cheesemakers with the Maine Cheese Guild at the Annual Maine Cheese Festival. This rain-or-shine, family-friendly event is sure to delight everyone! Come for the music, food trucks, and of course, come for the Maine cheese!

The Maine Cheese Guild is pleased to host the 7th annual Maine Cheese Festival, our annual showcase of the best artisan cheeses made in Maine. Manson Park is a large and open park along the Sebasticook River - a beautiful setting for festival attendees to taste the vast array of superb Maine cheeses crafted from cow, goat, water buffalo and sheep milk. This Festival is the largest gathering of Maine cheese makers in the state and a great opportunity to learn about the craft right from the makers. The festivities will include a Maine beer and wine garden offering tastings and product for purchase "To Go". Several food trucks will be serving up delicious foods creations made with local foods and there are many other Maine artisan food vendors, educational food demos, a dedicated stage for live music and live animals! The highlight of the day will be the 2nd annual Maine Cheese Competition and Awards, with the award ceremony live streamed from the main stage.

New this year! The Early Bird gets the worm! A limited number of tickets will be sold for early admission. Say hello to the cheesemakers before anyone else, and buy your favorites before they run out. AND! Back by popular demand: pre-order your Maine Cheese Festival T-Shirt with your ticket! Simply select tickets indicated with "+T-Shirt" and your shirt will be waiting for you at the gate on the day of the festival!

This is a rain or shine event. Tickets will not be available at the gate - be sure to purchase yours ahead! Early Birds get an extra hour in the morning. Kids under 10 are free, but if you feel compelled to donate a few dollars, there's a "ticket" for that!
