Lynn Karlin’s Photo Exhibit “Nature’s Grand Designs” Opens at the Ellsworth Public Library

From November 2025 until Feburary, 2026, the Ellsworth Public Library will be hosting 20 works of art by award-winning commercial and fine art photographer, author, and former photojournalist Lynn Karlin. Her career, spanning over five decades, has evolved from shooting fashion for Women's Wear Daily in New York City to creating elegant still-life photographs of vegetables, fruit, and flowers. There will be a special artist reception on November 22 at from 4 - 6 PM. 

Lynn Karlin's stunning photography will be on display on the main and top floor of the library free of charge during regular library hours.

All work is for sale, and a portion of the proceeds will go to Artivism in Maine (AIMe) to provide seed funding for new arts projects. 

This exhibit was made possible through our collaboration with AIMe and the launch coincides with their 3rd FREEDOM & JUSTICE Summit "What's YOUR Art got to do with it!' which brings together amazing creatives, artists, businesses, and organizations at locations across Ellsworth between November 6 - 9!
