Lincoln County Bicentennial Plus One Pilgrimage
A 201 birthday party in Lincoln county
A county wide pilgrimage encouraging residents and visitor to tour the numerous historic sites and many hidden gems across the county. A similar pilgrimage was celebated in 1960. The week's kick off will be a history fair at the Railway village Museum in Boothbay on August 15 where you can learn about the events taking place during the week. A booklet is available where you will find all the information about participating sites and what they have planned. The final page of the booklet serves as your Passport so you can receive a stamp for each site you visit. Then send the passport in to enter a raffle to win a series of bincentennial and historically themed prizes.
