KIDS' SUMMER READING KICK-OFF PARTY at the ELLSWORTH PUBLIC LIBRARY

6/29/24

The Ellsworth Public Library is launching its popular Kids’ Summer Reading Program for ages 0 – 18 with a kick-off party on the library lawn on Saturday, June 29 at 10 AM. This is a rain or shine event. No matter if you are a local or just visiting. All are welcome.

At the event kids and teens will be able to sign up for this year’s summer reading program. The 2024 theme is “Camping with Cryptids” and is all about mythical creatures and literary exploration. On the day, participants can obtain their “Big Foot Hunting License” for completing several fun and age-appropriate tasks.

The Kids’ Summer Reading program is part of the “Summer at the Library” program that runs throughout July and August and also offers reading incentives for adults. The full program will be released in June 2024.

If you have any questions please reach out to Keli Gancos ([email protected]) or visit the library website.
