Through this indoor tour, discover the stories of turn of the 20th Century Kennebunk residents who immigrated from Scandinavia, Scotland, Ireland, Syria and Russia, including holiday foods and traditions.
Discover the holiday traditions of Kennebunk’s residents at the turn of the 20th Century. Immigrants from Scandinavia, Scotland, Ireland, Syria and Russia lived in Kennebunk in 1910, all contributing to the labor industry. Learn about these families and their holiday traditions through an immersive candlelit stroll from one vignette to the next. The tour takes place indoors and lasts about an hour, with tours departing continuously between 3pm and 5pm.
