The High Peaks Alliance, in partnership with the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce, is excited to host the inaugural High Peaks Outdoor Heritage Festival, presented by Franklin Savings Bank. This FREE festival will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Farmington Fairgrounds in Farmington, the gateway to Maine's High Peaks region.

Celebrate Maine's outdoor traditions with a full day of family fun, hands-on experiences, and the legendary Maine Moose Permit Lottery. The festival is designed to bring together outdoor enthusiasts, families, and community members to honor Maine's natural beauty and vibrant outdoor culture.

Festival attendees will have the unique opportunity to connect with some of Maine's most celebrated outdoor voices:

  • Zachary Fowler of Fowler's Mischief and Makery will host hands-on fish printing demonstrations and share outdoor stories.

  • Daniel Vitalis of WildFed, on the Outdoor Channel, will present on wild foods, sustainable harvesting, and culinary adventure.

  • Arthur Haines, Maine's renowned naturalist and author, will share his deep knowledge of the region's ecology, wild edibles, and traditional skills.

  • Hal Blood of Big Woods Bucks will lead a panel on hunting in Maine's High Peaks.
