In celebration of Maine's Bicentennial, step back in time and watch demonstrations of old-time pioneer skills at Presque Isle Historical Society's Maysville Museum. On Monday, October 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., watch and even participate in old-time pioneer skills. Blacksmithing, spinning, quilting, Civil War re-enactment, quill pen making, handkerchief doll making, candle making, butter making, 18th Century Children's games, and live music from the Wednesday Evening Fiddlers. Demonstrations are time-specific (see event poster). FREE! Museum also open that day.
