Film Club

OHA is pleased to present: Film Club! We are launching this membership-based movie club to celebrate our 25th season. This series is designed to offer a space for people who enjoy classic films to gather and discuss the films after viewing them on the big screen. Each year, members of Film Club will vote on the films they wish to see screened.

For the launch of Film Club 2025, the OHA team selected 35 films acknowledged by the American Film Institute for the ways in which they demonstrate excellence in the art form. We included dramas, comedies, musicals, mysteries, and science fiction features made between 1940 and 1991.

Voting for the films will take place in January 2025 via a survey linked to membership purchase. Membership is $30 for a six film series and can be purchased at any time, but must be purchased before January 31 to take part in the voting process.

Screenings will take place on Tuesdays: March 4, 11, 18, 25 and April 1 and 8. The screenings will begin at 6pm with the lobby open 1 hour prior to and 1 hour after the film for members to gather for pre and post screening discussions.
