Eastport ArtFests: 3rd Annual Mermaid Festival and Parade
Eastport ArtFests celebrate our region’s rich cultural heritage with all-ages, all-inclusive interactive art activities, live music, film, dance, puppetry, parades and more.
Celebrate our creative connection to the sea with the 3rd Annual Mermaid Parade on Saturday August 3rd. Local artists will help you create your mermaid attire or make puppets out of beach trash, the "Tales of Quoddy Bay" puppet theater returns, plus live music and more. Join the Eastport Schools cheer squad dancing to "Under the Sea". Parade begins at 4pm, followed by Surf rock music by the Dramamines in the Amphitheater following the parade.
