Annual Christmas Light Parade/Celebration

Annual Christmas Light Parade/Celebration Van Buren, Me. 11/25/2023 5th Annual Christmas Light Parade/Celebration-Van Buren, ME. The Van Buren Revitalization Association will be hosting the 5th Annual Christmas Light Parade/Celebration in Van Buren on Saturday, November 25 beginning at 5;30 p.m. Parade line up begins at 4:30 p.m. at Borderview Nursing Home on State St. (Route 1) and ends at the LaPlante Apartment Complex on Clover Hill Drive. Afterwards, numerous Downtown events are planned to include Food, Santa, Window Decoration Judging, Scavenger Hunt, Music and more! Any interested participants can call or text Pete Madore @ 484-8691. There is no charge to enter parade and as many participants as possible are encouraged to sign up. It is noted traffic will NOT be held up but DETOURED during parade portion via Castonguay Road and Champlain Street. Also, any traffic coming from Canada and heading South will have option of utilizing US Route 1A during parade portion. Normal travel routes will be reopened as soon as parade clears various checkpoints. Thank you for your patience and we hope to see everyone at our celebration!
