78th Annual Maine Potato Blossom Festival

Welcome to the Maine Potato Blossom Festival, an annual celebration of our agricultural heritage. For more than 70 years, The Festival as it is known regionally, has been a highlight of summer in Aroostook County. We invite you to come and experience the all the fun, food and excitement of musical performances, family-friendly events, and much more of our nine day festival.

Throughout the festival, we offer a wide range of activities for all ages, including live music, delicious food, exciting games and contests, and a spectacular parade that is one of the largest in Maine. Many of these events are free of charge! From the crowning of our Maine Potato Blossom Queen to our traditional potato picking contests and mashed potato wrestling, there is something for everyone at the festival.

But the Maine Potato Blossom Festival is more than just a fun summer event. It is a celebration of the proud agricultural traditions that have helped to shape our community, and a chance to honor the men and women who have served our country. Through our various events and activities, we aim to create a sense of unity and pride in our community, while also providing a fun and engaging experience for all who attend.
