Newagen Seaside Inn is a historic coastal inn set on 20 acres of oceanfront property at the tip of Southport Island.
Guests choose between classic inn rooms and suites or private seaside cottages, each offering a relaxed, island-centered stay. Accommodations include thoughtful details such as fireplaces, screened porches, full kitchens in cottages and inviting common spaces throughout the inn. Rates include breakfast and access to amenities including a swimming pool, tennis courts and a vintage game room. The property is open May through October.
On-site dining is offered at The Pub, serving seasonal Maine fare with an emphasis on local seafood, meats and produce. Lunch, dinner and a daily happy hour are available, with indoor and deck seating overlooking the water. Weekly lobster bakes are held on the oceanfront lawn in summer and are open to the public.
Newagen Seaside Inn also hosts destination weddings, retreats and private events, with ocean-view dining spaces, meeting rooms and expansive waterfront lawns.
