Maine Maritime Museum is a waterfront museum located on the Kennebec River in Bath, exploring Maine’s maritime heritage through exhibitions, historic sites and on-the-water experiences. The 20-acre campus includes the nation’s only intact historic shipyard, once home to the Percy & Small Shipyard.

Visitors can explore indoor galleries, tour the Victorian-era Donnell House and experience Into the Lantern: A Lighthouse Experience, which recreates the view from inside a lighthouse lantern room. Outdoor highlights include a full-scale sculpture of the schooner Wyoming and waterfront grounds designed for self-guided exploration. Families will also find hands-on features such as a pirate play ship and a tugboat pilot house.
