Georges River Land Trust is a nonprofit conservation organization protecting land and waterways within the Georges River watershed in Midcoast Maine. Since its founding in 1987, the trust has conserved thousands of acres of forests, rivers and wildlife habitat from Montville to Cushing.

Visitors can explore 23 public preserves and more than 80 miles of multi-use trails managed by the land trust. These conserved landscapes support hiking, nature observation and outdoor recreation while offering opportunities to connect with the region’s natural and cultural heritage. Through stewardship and education, Georges River Land Trust helps ensure long-term access to the watershed’s special places for both residents and visitors.
